To become certified, candidates need to be able to exploit several different operating systems, in different situations. They must also demonstrate their ability to identify system vulnerabilities and unveil weak code in order.
The OSCP exam spans 24 hours and tests the individuals' ability to access an administrative role on unknown systems in realistic simulations. Candidates must successfully execute attacks against compromised systems and compose detailed Penetration Test reports on all identified vulnerabilities.
